Lol I am going to have to give that car a try.
The server is back up. A bit of maintenance to the pc and some updates and we are good to go.

We need the specs! That would be a fun mod to work on.
I'm making progress in the world of sorting out the suspension. Hopefully I can get together a strut mini by next week to try. I'd really like to fix the sound file also.
Have you had any success in swapping tires from one car to another without using CM? The tires in the model are so strange, CM offers some pretty strange options.
The Volvo has gigantic slicks on it (with not well defined size). I think it might be better to swap out some more reasonable tires, but as I remember, just switching the tires file, does not work out so well (I did some copy and pasting once and the car just flew into the sky!). Unless Racebrick has gigantic tires on his car?
I've messed around with tires in the .ini files and it was fairly straightforward. The only reason I can see them flying into the sky is if you accidentally put the diameter in radius or something like that. The RR is how the game calculates hub height/what is touching the ground, so that dim needs to jive with the mesh file.
Well, I made it a couple of days before trying to drive one footed, but it's a no go unfortunately. Even without using my bad foot I kept flexing it instinctively which got painful pretty quickly and is not conducive to actually getting better. On the plus side it does seem to be healing relatively well, so hopefully it won't be too long before I'm back.
The key to finding any tracks is to search Google for "Assetto Corsa" + Track Name.
Fortunately "Assetto Corsa" is not a common phrase outside the game, so it works pretty well. This will, sometimes, result in finding tracks for RFactor, so beware of that.
I think both tracks are on Race Department, which does require you to be registered. If you want to save the step, both tracks are on our track / car drive:

Do you have interest in joining us for the season?
I updated the track list since Brad has Nashville. Might as well go with what is actually run. Should make a good opening track. Mid-Ohio is now last. Liveries are good to go. I added two alternates also.
Is Sauce solid to run? No news from Slowbird?
I think Darwin is saying he is out this week. We can easily push until next week. It will give us a chance to try Nashville and maybe a brick like car.
Yes, it was a wildly overpowered and slammed drift car.
There is a new version up there now with updated and more reasonable tires, adjusted gearing, way less power, adjusted brakes, but you still need to adjust the suspension. I want to get rid of the traction control, but I don't think I can since it's a sub-car.
I was going to race this week but something has come up last minute. Should be good to go next week though.
I was also all set to join now that I'm back in town, but a friend's car has decided to be a little bitch. I'm going to go over and see if I can figure out what's up before snowmageddon hits.

Yes. We are going to try out a car, that is like a brick, and yet it is a car...
If you get a chance, upload the Nashville Super Speedway.
Next week more Mini on Mini violence and we are going to circle back to the 944 cup cars. Those were great fun.
Hopfully by the following week people will be ready to start the ALOA Brad Mini series. This also gives Pro a chance to tweak the Mini of he wants.
Air I sorted the one drive out issue and started copying over cars and tracks. I have about 600 cars in total that I will eventually put up there. I also have a place for tracks and game plugins. Since Assettoland went away it would be good to have a repository for all the AC content we have amassed.
Great to catch up Argo!!! You are welcome to join us on discord and we can all share our screens so you can jump between cars and see all the action if you want.
You'll need to log in to post.
