BoS sent me to a Super Mutie camp inside of a scrapyard to clean house. Taking on two dozen Mutants would've been a lot tougher if I hadn't located the T-60 power armor en route to the encampment.

I can't wait to get my virtual mitts on a Gauss rifle! The Overseer's Guardian from Vault 81 is my weapon of choice at the moment.

I still take my t-51e set with me everywhere, even though I have access to all the t-60b sets I want....I also have arms and helmet for the x-01 armor right now. LoL

I couldn't do it. 17 hours after sticking the disc back in the RedBox, I ordered my own copy.

What am I supposed to do with the power armor? It ran of our juice after that first fight, so I ditched it and proceeded on foot.

OK, who has the most hours in to date?

I REALLY this is worth trading off my PS3 and fave games..... like Mass Effect and Killzone trilogy. as well as the FO3 and NV.

Find fusion cores for it, they'll be scarce at first, but you'll find them everywhere after awhile, especially since they're the ammo for the laser Gatling gun

It isn't me but I am in for close to 25 hours. It is a riot. I just cleaned out a house full of super mutants on the NE side of Boston. Just me, a silenced .50 Cal, and lot of crouching. Head shots are the best

This. Sneaky headshot builds are the best. It almost makes the game too easy. I'm sticking to .45 & .38 just to keep things interesting. Though the assaultrons manage to roast me in no time if I let them get close. I'm 31 hours in, 4 sets of power armor so far, which I still refuse to wear.

Oh, and where the heck can I find a radiation suit?!?

Hahha, I don't know where to find a rad suit but your power armor has some resistance to radiation.

You can find them every so often, and stacked under upgraded power armor will make carrying Radx a thing of the past.

I didn't bother to look last night, but I'm probably close to lvl 35.

I figured my HAHAh part would let you know I thought it was ironic that you won't wear the four radiation suits disguised as power armor that you already own.

I suppose it is kind of funny. I may just give in and wear power armor to doing the Glowing Sea quest. I've been avoiding it for a few hours trying to find a rad suit, but I have to make progress on the main story line sooner or later...

In my first build, I was attacked by some scavengers wearing the Hazmat/radiation suits on the southern part of the map near the Glowing Sea.

On the second build, I think I bought a suit in either Diamond City or Goodneighbor.

@ tactical penguin: Yeah, I've noticed the vendors in Goodneighbor and Prydwen have some interesting unique armor. I bought chest armor from both of them. Matter of fact, it's the only thing I've spent caps on so far

I found a sweet hazmat suit in a nook near a quarry in the north east. Took a E36 M3 load of rad to get it but it very useful for swimming and such now. I can give you more details if you want. It seemed like a permanent item.

While I agree that sniping can make it too easy, it is only easy if no one finds me. If they do, I frequently die. I could up the difficulty though.

Remember, don't train any of your SPECIAL up to 10 unless you've already grabbed the appropriate bobble-head. Otherwise, you're wasting a perk point.

Do tell.

Re: Sniping. Strategically placed mines are your friend. Mine a chokepoint, then snipe from just beyond it. It'll take out the first wave of baddies that come at you.

Alternately order your companion to the front of the battle so you can hang back and snipe while they bulletsponge

Pretty sure the bobbleheads don't work that way in Fallout 4.

edit: I stand corrected. I have only found skill bobbleheads so far, not the S.P.E.C.I.A.L. bobbleheads.

I thought I read that if you get SPECIAL up to 10, use a drug/alcohol to drop a point before getting the bobble head. Then when the meds wear off it'll be 11. Only thing wasted is the drugs since there is no level cap and therefore unlimited perk points.
