Megaine challenge fixed. On to the coffee car :)
Edit: fixed that one too
Are you guys running aero parts in the BRZFRSGT86 seasonal?
EDIT: doh I m running the car with the wrong power setup. I was testing different torque versus HP settings and left them all wonky. Now I am on pace with no aero.
I tried it at first, but was getting freight trained on the straights. Took off the aero and was instantly on pace.
Yeah, I had one that already had aero so I tried it but was also getting left on the straights. I need to play with it a bit more to get a decent time, I don't think my suspension setup is doing me any favors right now. I'm good through the first 2 corners, lose a little through the next 2, then fall apart on the higher speed section.
I keep trying to get back into this game, but every time I try I make the mistake of doing the seasonals which just annoy the crap out of me.

I'd have sympathy for you if you didn't attempt the 400pp FF challenge in a `78 Mirage.

That one didn't bother me. I had fun and I like the course.
It's the others. Like how the only time a 930 hp CTR2 cannot drift is during a drift trial. Or any of the drift trials. Or the time trials where I cannot do any better than bronze.
E: I also got gold on it with the Big Whore, so there.

Sure thing. I'll post them up tomorrow.
T1 makes or breaks the lap at brands hatch. I bet I did 50 restarts just to get that corner right, and anth was still quicker to the first sector lol.
I used a veyron on CHs with the diff at 10/90 for the drift challenge. Basically idled up to the starting points and just powered through it. It's too heavy to try and toss it at speed.
Another drift tip is to follow the standard racing line of out-in-out to get the best points. It took me a while to figure that one out, but the line makes more of a difference than angle or speed.
Oh, I have plenty of cars that drift. Just not during a drift challenge.
Then they all plow through the corners or slam into the walls. My Subie wagon that can swing its booty on race softs? Nope. The BuntaMobile? Nope. Hell, I had to grab a 240RS because my Qs couldn't cut it.
Speaking of, I like that we all had the same idea and ran NA versions.

Even with this idea I still hate drifting. I think I need to go to a drifting school in real life then maybe will have the technique to apply to the game. Or just treat it like a game and try to get the points by any means necessary.
In real life I used to icerace on frozen lakes in my Ford(Merkur XR4TI) Sierra. Constant drifting required. But no success in the game...sucks.
Any means necessary is the way to go
E: and I'm gonna throw this out there, the Senna stuff appears to be bullE36 M3.

Nothing crazy, but it's very stable.

You still have me. You're faster in the first 2 sectors, but I catch up on the back half. That damn turn one is what's killing my time. I can't seem to get it right. You and air both get me by a tenth or 2 in the first sector.
I had a million credits. Emphasis on had. Now I have a bunch of fully tuned old ass tiny cars, but at least my Subie 360 looks good.
You'll need to log in to post.
