For anyone not wanting to do the math, that is about 2.5 hours of practice for both Gameboy and Dean.
One of the newer drivers asked me if there was any secret on how to do good in the races...
Over the course of 5 days this works out to about 30 min a day so not to far off what Rodan is talking about. I think Rodan you are correct. I seem to hit a wall after a while practicing and it is always best to stop instead of pressing on. If I start making stupid mistakes like missing brake points and what not it is time to stop.
Well, that was an interesting night. My first race was a disaster (Again I am sorry Mike that was all on me) and the resulting incident set me up to get stuck in a hole and I had to reset back to the pits.
Race two on the other hand was wire to wire.
Just a weird night.

Last night was good racing. I knew we were all going to be on the ragged edge on that track and it got a couple of us!
Yeah, I did a bit of a reverse Dean last night. Did surprisingly well qualifying (car liked the track and everyone elses HC's) and ran a decent first race. I got used to the track and with the help of some accidents was running 3rd (I think). Started thinking "hey, these curbs aren't that bad" (the did seem to take most of them pretty well) and ended up in a tank slapper the resulted in me behind one of the track walls. Took me quite a while to get out of that and I think I skipped a track point, so I went a lap down. At least two other joined me, so saved me from last place.
Results and Standing: I am not sure if we are doing one or two more races (I had to leave a bit early last night). Currently Sauce has a 6 point lead on Gameboy, but 2 more HC. If we go one more race, it looks like the best Gameboy can do is tie (assuming he wins next week). Sauce would need to finish 5 or lower in that case (his minimum finish because of his drop is 5th).

If I recall the conversation correctly I think we have 3 more races in this series. Dean said 8 or 10 but it seemed to be 10 races?
You are correct. The majority said ten so ten it is. So three more races to go.
OK, so that give Gameboy a bit more time, and maybe Rodan. It's really a game of managing the HC at this point. I can't imagine Sauce can handle much more. Good opportunity for Drilling and Racebrick to jump up also.

If we go to ten, I'll have to miss the last race... I was hoping for eight.
It will bring the field closer together. (What we are ultimately trying to do). It should make for some excitement as the season comes to a close.

Payed off for the win at Grobnick 2nd race. Go faster thread worthy.
Highlights: Not only did Dean get a race win, so did Darwin, so the HC are certainly doing something. This course certainly had some surprises for some.
BTW Dean, I was a bit slow on this one because I got a bit distracted by this, on my PC. Dean, if you want all the links to make this happen (rather easy), remind me. Not sure if a wheel will work with it (I will test on Wed), but an XBox controller works great (a bit of a challenge of course).

Nice to see Darwin push the Supra. Really shows its potential.

Awesome, as usual Air.... but the lap in the Camaro wasn't me.
Last night was fun!!! The track turned out to be a good match for these cars. Fugi is up next. The track is on the google drive.
Last night was some great racing, that track never disappoints. I'm trying to do a late season charge, but 3rd place might be too far away at this point.
That back section of Fuji will be where the lap time lives, should be a fun challenge.
Results and Standings: Clearly the HC are coming into full effect. Sauce and Gameboy seem to be hovering in the "I really don't want any more handicap" range, opening it up for some other drivers. Heck, even I managed to win a race! With two races left, Gameboy seems to be on the advantage side of the HC situation, but is still 5 points back. Also of note is that although the next race the leaders might want to be careful about piling up more HC, they don't have to worry about that for the last race. Sauces drop of 14 (5th place) will likely play into this since it is the lowest he can place in the last race if he finishes 5th or better in the next race.
I think Racebrick and I are in the wrong order

I double checked, and it is correct. You were a good 4 seconds behind him.
Highlights: A pretty tame race really. Not a lot of passing or incidents. Not sure if it was the track or something else.

In the season points I am shown with 100 and he has 97. In fact he should be behind you as well. yes?
