It truly is the greatest game ever. I'm so pissed, I have San Andreas. It froze at a spot where you've got to go to the little hick town and steal a tanker truck. I have no idea how far into the game I was. I have to guess a minimum of 40 hours. I started from old save spots and all that. Still froze in the same spot every_time. A couple years ago, I started the thing from scratch. I actually really dug the story on that one anyway; the whole "NWA" vibe. I really liked riding a bicycle in the hood. Motherberkeleyer froze in the same goddamned spot. I'm ready for revenge.

Well that lasted long. I just preordered.
If I had more vacation time, I would seriously consider taking 1-2 days off work next week to sit around and drink beer and play this.

You were a third of the way through, I've got thousands of hours into San Andreas. V is shaping up to be San Andreas+peak utilization of the PS3's power+online mode+about 10 more cans of awesomesauce.

Just read IGN's review where they give the game a 10 out of 10 and call it one of the best games of all time.

Hopefully we don't have to do any GTA-style moves in order to get the game at 12:01 am.
I got a call from my local Gamestop this afternoon, they're trying to get an accurate head count on how many people are showing up tonight.
The clerk said there's already a group of guys tailgating in the parking lot.
GTA IV was the biggest release I'd ever seen. Beat all CODs. Its got a more solid fan base.
2:30 pm central tomorrow on xbox. Who's in? 
Got email notification of "shipment" around 1:30 today although no tracking info available yet.
