I recently picked up an '02 65sx as a project bike and am having problems finding a new crank/connecting rod assembly for it. The motor "should be" the same they used from '02-'08, but all I can find are ones for '03+ or the older generation. About the only thing I can find is there is a guy in TX that might be able to rebuild mine for about the same cost, but then I have to ship both ways so it ends up costing more for a used crank with a new rod.
Long story short, does anybody know if I can use an '03 crank in an '02 KTM 65SX?
