Sold a 1978 Garelli to a guy who insisted that you didn’t need plates, insurance or a license to ride anything under 50cc. Got a note from him about two weeks later asking if I wanted to buy it back. He was facing over $3k in fines. I assume he failed the roadside attitude test.
I've got an '07 Tomos Arrow R taking up space in my garage. Bought it to run the 50cc True Grits rally - success, even in the freezing rain. Starts super easy. Has a pipe and smaller sprocket, runs about 40 with me on flat ground.
