Car: 1941 Hupmobile Skylark

Details: Hupmobile bought the Cord body dies after their demise in 1937. In 1940, in partnership with Graham, Hupmobile built 319 cars, called the Hupmobile Skylark and Graham built approx 1500 cars called the Hollywood Graham. Hupmobile used a 6 cylinder Hupmobile engine, while Graham used a Graham supercharged 6 cylinder engine. Both car's drive trains were changed to rear wheel drive. Both companies ceased production after 1940, and any unsold cars were retitled as 1941 models. There are less then 40 Hupmobile Skylarks left worldwide. My father and I purchased the car in 1985 and underwent restoration. The Hupp Skylark underwent a refreshed restoration in 2017. In memory of my parents, Dr. & Mrs. Frederick Weinstein, I proudly present our 1941 Hupmobile Skylark.

Car: 1942 Chrylser Royal Business Coupe

Details: The car was shipped new to a dealer in a small town in Pennsylvania. Its three prior owners lived within a short distance of the delivering dealer. I found the car on Hemmings in an ad with no pictures. It had been restored but not to Concours level. The brake, fuel and electrical systems needed attention. The engine compartment and undercarriage required detailing. The paint was wet sanded and polished. The interior required new flooring and all upholstery needed tightening, adjustment or replacement. The marbelized interior plastics are a one year only pattern and consequently are very rare and hard to find. 2020 Gasparilla Concours d’Elegance Accepted Participant.

Car: 1948 Willys CJ2A

Details: This is our 1948 Willys CJ2A that we spent the last 13 years restoring as a family project, My wife Linda, son Chris and grandson Alex and I did all the work ourselves from the sandblasting,cutting,welding, sheet metal, engine / transmission and paint witch is the original color for this Jeep pasture green with autumn yellow wheels. We finished this little Jeep in may of 2019 and have taken it to many car shows around Northen California and have won many awards 18 in total including local concours events in Chico Ca. and Goodguys events. We were looking forward to the Ironstone concours in Murphy's Ca. this year but with Covid we only got to do the tour drive, we hade a great time and got to meet a lot of new friends. Car: 1939 Ford Business Coupe

Description: This iconic 1939 Ford coupe is a 2 seater business model. Having an extra large trunk area the business coupe was ideal and preferred by traveling salesmen since they could carry the wares/products to sales calls. The original build was completed in Canada in the early 1990's. More recently the car was in Arizona and Texas. There are several unique features which preserve the integrity of the original manufacturing beauty .... to preserve the dash and passenger leg room the air conditioning evaporator and blower is in the trunk and the vents are mounted on the rear deck. Color is Jefferson Blue. 2020 Gasparilla Concours d'Elegance accepted participant. Unfortunately I am having trouble loading picures.

Car: 1932 Cadillac 355B Convertible Coupe

Details: This 1932 Cadillac Convertible Coupe is the model 355B. The 355 V8 series cars share the same 134" wheelbase chassis and Fisher body as the 370B V12 Convertible Coupe model. This car received an extensive restoration some years ago, but has not been driven other than to local events. The car was restored by Ted Dalhberg and copious notes were made by him during the restoration. It has graced the cover of the Cadillac LaSalle Club publication "The Self Starter" and has been shown at the Silverado Resort in Napa in 2019 receiving a 3rd in class award.

Car: 1932 Chrysler CL Imperial Convertible Coupe, Lebaron

Details: Walter Chrysler entered the fine car market in 1931 with the luxurious Imperial. Unfortunately, by the time the Ralph Roberts-styled Imperial came to market, the demand for high-end automobiles had all but disappeared. As such, Chrysler built only about 220 CL Imperials for the 1932 model year of which just 28 were fitted with the convertible coupe body. This car was originally delivered new in Portland, Oregon and is fitted with a body by LeBaron – the coachbuilding firm founded in 1924 by Thomas Hibbard and Raymond Dietrich. Power is supplied by a “Red Head” 135hp 385cid in-line eight-cylinder engine. Restoration was completed in the mid-2000’s.
