This year is flying by and I want to get this on the calendar before it gets too late and we can't pick a date. Last year we met at the Plant Street Market in Winter Garden and it seemed to work ok but I'd totally be open to other options if people have them.
How would 12/2 or 12/9 work for people? State your preference for date and locale.
How is it already September?
Subscribed.
Not sure I can attend yet, but so far both days are open for me.
12/2 is my berfday(Yay!) and also my cousins wedding that im going to(boo).
In! Well, as in as I can be this far out.... I do hope it all works out.
I don't have my schedule yet, but I'm sure interested.
I'd love to be there. My best odds are on 12/2 as well.
I won't make any promises, but I can at least put it on the office calendar.

I'm in for 12/2! 12/9 is the PRI show, unfortunately.
Ok, 12/2 seems to be the ideal date. Now, for a location. While the Plant Street Market had lots of food (and beer) options, parking wasn't ideal and there really wasn't a spot big enough for everyone once the lunch crowd set in. Does anyone have any other thoughts on a meeting spot? Decent food, beer, and a good-sized parking lot, somewhere not in downtown anywhere.
No promisees ether, but I'll do my best
Just confirmed that I can't work that day with my manager this morning.

I wonder if there are any car museums around there? Bonus points if there's a brewery nearby

Thinking about meeting location ideas, any preference on exactly where in central FL we meet?
I'm biased because I'm local, but Daytona International Speedway's museum is pretty solid for $12, and it's across the street from a big retail complex with tons of parking/food/beer. Maybe 4Rivers BBQ then anybody who wants to can walk across to look at the museum? That place is full of big tables but never seems to have any people in it.
If we're doing Orlando, this place could be cool, but I don't know what their parking situation is like https://dezerlandpark.com/the-auto-experience/
In reply to Nicole Suddard :
Holy hell, that place has everything. I'm actually thinking more of a place where we can spend time together, chatting, etc. I'll go some map skulking and see if I can come up with any ideas.
I've had a thought. How would people feel about having our get-together somewhere in, or near, St. Cloud (just South of Orlando) and coordinating a visit (before or after) to FLDiver's son's memorial bench? There are a couple of places in St Cloud that could work for us, especially the Crabby Bill's restaurant right at the waterfront park where Brandon's bench is located. There is a decent-sized parking lot there (also for the marina). There are also a few diners or restaurants/bars that could work (Phrye Steakhouse/Brewery, Thee Doghouse, The Cup Diner, Mutts on 13th, etc.)
Does this sound feasible?
Works for me too, less of a drive.
Bumping this. Can I please get more input from those who might attend on the possible food spots?
