My car's still broke, but I want to go racing. The guy I help with the USRA Modified is all ready to race and loaded. Our season opener at the dirt track was rained out. What's a guy to do? ChampCar is at Hallett the 19th -21st. So I volunteer. Did it last year and had a lot of fun, met some really cool people, and had weekend away with the wife. Following weekend, Memorial Day, wife has a family reunion of sorts at an air b&b near Watkins Glen. Guess where ChampCar is, Watkins Glen. My stepson and I are both volunteering for that. Have been trying to connect with him a little better and get him involve in this crazy sport. Looks to be a good time.
