DFW/North Texas Forum Member Meetup

There are a bunch of Forum members in DFW/ North Texas and some I did not realize are here.

I'd like to organize a meetup sometime and I'm not setting a hard date yet because I want to make sure people know about it. I'm thinking meeting somewhere off HWY360 between Grapevine and Arlington just because of the central DFW location. 

So if you're a DFW local interested in meeting up with myself and other forum members. Comment here so we can start planning! 

I'd definitely be interested. Selfishly, the further north and/or west we could go would be nice. I'm coming from way out in BFE Anna. 

I'd be in as long as my ridiculous work schedule permits it. About the only day I have a chance of being free on is usually Sundays.  

Glad to know what I'm working with. I'll look at my calendar and try to set a workable date and time.

I'm thinking fudruckers in Grapevine. Since we can come and go as we please there and not be bothered too much. Date is still TBD but I'm eyeing a sunday evening 

Open to alternate food/drink options as well.

That would work perfectly for me. As long as it's not a last Sunday of the month I should be able to swing a day off work.

No I stopped selling cars a little over a year ago. Got sick of the customer service grind in general. I drive a front loader on 2nd shift now at a brickyard. Basically I drive around and listen to audiobooks and podcasts for 12 hours a day. Much happier.

Sundays are still the best day. I usually work 6 days a week, sometimes 7.

A billion restaurants in the DFW metro and you pick Fudruckers?! If we want Grapevine, Hop and Sting brewery is there, and from the Googles looks like there'd be room to park.

I picked grapevine for location. I have responses from Anna and weatherford. Fudruckers is pretty quiet and good chance of being left to ourselves as I stated. There's no wait staff and so we're not having to deal with chasing tabs and other things. That was why I put it down as the first idea. 

I also stated openly to being willing to explore other options for location and food. 

Hop and Sting can work. But on a sunday we're possibly going to run up against their 8pm closing. 

Plus Fudruckers literally has a liquid cheese dispenser. Instantly gets my vote.

There's not much cheese about it at that point.. But i understand where you're coming from.

I'm 69% just giving you E36 M3. Out past 8pm on a Sunday? What are we, Europeans? We thinking evening or afternoon get together?

13 Oct is my only open Sunday in October. VWBruce is East Metro too, I'll hit him up.

The 13th should work for me too.
