I'm guessing they were there fixing something, not actually patronizing the bank. I'd be surprised if Toyman didn't have payment all worked out prior to arrival.
Looks like they're back on the road again, and not back to the compound either!

Spot is not working for me. Are they still at the bank?
< edit > just saw where you mentioned they are back on the road. Hopefully they were taking photos and are uploading them now.

I'm sure any banker man would be speechless upon seeing the collateral.

Yep, looks like they made it another half mile down the road- the pin shows they are at the BP Gas station, but I can't tell if they are really there, or just going down the highway in front of it.

When the banker says no to an auto loan, tell them what you really need is a mortgage since you plan to live in it!
Damn it I want a first handle account. Although you guys are probably making up stories better than what's really happening.
Ok, we are mobile. Had to make a stop to rewire the two speed axle.
Another stop to check burning rubber smell.
We are 30+minutes from the evening stop at Realminiparker's house.
I can honestly say this might have been a bad idea.
Stay tuned.

I'm shocked. Shocked, I tell you!
We're counting on you Toyman. You can do this.

Naw that's just the oh E36 M3 what did I get into moment. He's a SC boy and a Charleston one to boot. We don't give up. He'll get it home.
They are finally on the interstate and got it up to 60mph. From what I have gotten, there were some disconnected wires to the rear end and it took a bit to figure it out. They are headed to another grassroots guy's house to spend the night and will update in a bit.

Who (other than Toyman and his family) was hoping for the "we got in the bus and drove it home" version. Don't get me wrong, I want them to get home with all of their fingers and want not, but this is the best story on the whole internet right now and I don't want it to end. I'm personally hoping for a large hijinx/pain ratio.
