Out of curiosity what is everyone using on the floors of their enclosed trailers?

This stuff is the best.  I used to build custom trailers for a living and this is all we would use.

I laid luan plywood over the existing floor and coated it with garage floor epoxy. Turned out really good and has held up for aboit 10 years now.

I just used some porch paint with additional grit added to it. looks good but time will tell how it holds up

I just used the garage floor epoxy kit from HD. It has held up well for the last 4 years or so. But, the trailer only gets used for 5 or so weekends a year. No complaints with my use case and it was cheap and easy to install. Use a lot (and then add a lot more) sand when painting the ramp. That stuff is slippery when wet.

Just wondering, why the luan first? My plywood is smooth enough, I would think?

I actually had to think to remember why I did that; the original floor was a combination of oil stains and vinyl tile adhesive. Zipping luan over it was the quick and easy way to a clean surface.

So you might not need it, but somehow when responding my brain went "yes, of course put luan down first. No further elaboration needed."

Makes perfect sense. I've used luan for a ton of stuff, going back to when it was $8 a sheet, and almost 1/4". Still use it a lot.
I certainly was not being a smart azz when I asked. Genuine interest.
Thanks.
