Have you talked to a Lawyer about what how you would come out if you sued the dealership for selling you a recall Jeep? Are there any aftermarket clutch companies advertising a cure for this problem? I would imagine that they (aftermarket companies) would be on this like flies on doo doo!
I know Centerforce and ACT both have been getting a lot of press on Jeep forums for their excellent products. It's not clear however if they correct whatever then problem is (seems like its possibly due to misalignment between the bell housing and block). And so far it's not very clear if Jeep will reimburse for them. Dealer has also stated that Mopar will not allow their upgraded clutches to be used as correction either.
found an updated PDF on the NHTSA site with a tentative schedule of repairs by model year. Looks like it was already published back in August, and then updated again in mid September. Ive spoken to the dealer several times since then, and he had no idea such a schedule existed. The scariest bit is the current timeline has the 22's slated for NEXT AUGUST
**09/12/2023: FCA US will notify dealers and begin notifying owners, in phases, starting with the 2023 model year vehicles on or about 11/30/2023, 12/19/2023 for 2018 model year vehicles, 04/18/2024 for 2019 model year vehicles, 06/04/2024 for 2020 model year vehicles, 07/02/2024 for 2021 model year vehicles, and 08/01/2024 for 2022 model year vehicles
I called the dealer again on Friday 11/10, and based on a phone call with their Stellantis rep, my vehicle may get bumped up in line because technically it falls into the dealer owned inventory category. He seemed to think it may be "a few more weeks", but this is me not holding my breath.
I did get to do some truck things recently tho. Among other things, I hauled a crabapple with a 400lb rootball. Gravity helped a lot with the last 20 inches into the hole I dug. Thank goodness for spray in bedliner...
Some of my worst/most aggravating experiences with cars have been related to warranty situations (not so much recalls). I never hesitated in going four-wheeling in a rental/loaner--I even did it in a Ford Escape (all-wheel-drive), and filled it with red dust. I had a great time four-wheeling in a loaner Tacoma, even ripped a mud flap off in the process. No one ever complained; they seemed generally happy to not have me scowling around the dealership. Some people have even done track days in loaners . . .
It should be amazing that you get this level of drama with a clutch issue.
I think if I knew the dealer is subject to a $21,000 fine I would pick out my favorite loaner and tell them with a 100% trade in allowance (including tax title and license fees) and a $21,000 discount I'd be willing to forget this nightmare.

I think they learned their lesson - they havent had a 6spd Gladiator in inventory since they pulled the stock last march.
as an update, Im now on loaner number 4 - its a Sport model with tow package that I needed so I could take my rider in for service on a small trailer. I had gotten kind of used to Rubicons lol, but Im just glad number 4 has heated seats - March has been cold in Cincinnati.
Still no word on timing for my service, Im pretty frustrated that it could be August before my clutch is replaced. FWIW, the sales manager shared with me that he did some recon and it turns out its 100% the same part number to order the kit for a '22 as it is with the earlier models that are currently getting replaced. Its Stelantis that is preventing him from ordering the parts. Im thinking I might re-open a Jeep cares case with their customer service. Had I waited a week to purchase this truck, it wouldve still been dealer owned inventory, and probably wouldve been prioritized for replacement rather than a customer owned vehicle that has to wait in line like a pleb.
I suppose the upside is that the techs will have plenty of experience in replacing these clutches by the time they get to mine. I was worried that they'd be newbs at these clutches since Im sure there arent that many clutch replacements being done at dealerships on warranty claims not related to this recall for vehicles as young as these.
