I read the title as a W8 VW rat rod. That literally scared me...
I am really impressed though. You certainly qualify for some sort of insanity trophy driving a rat across the country.
This is the build where the engine is unsprung right? How did that go over all the distance? Anything odd about it or was it basically as expected?

Hybrid sprung, but yes ; ) Truck ran great and was much more comfortable than expected. Probably helped that I stopped 4 times for gas!
