Headlining the 2021 Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion, now sanctioned by HSR, will be the running of IndyCars from the '60s and '70s—the first time a dedicated group of historic IndyCars has run at the Motorsports Reunion.

Other notable groups to run include iconic Trans-Am cars from 1966-1972, as well as notable Formula 1 cars from 1966-1985. In total, there will be 14 district groups running during the weekend's festivities:

1955-1961 Sports Racing under/over 2000cc
1961-1966 GT under 2500cc
1966-1972 Trans-Am
1983-2016 Masters Endurance Legends
1963-1978 IndyCar

The 2021 Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion is slated for August 12-15 at the WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca in Salinas, California, and is normally run during the famous Monterey Car Week.
