Worldwide Auctioneers held The Enthusiast Auction last weekend, and the star of the show was a 1936 Delahaye 135M Competition Court Cabriolet. Its just one of six Competition Court Type 135s bodied by Figoni et Falaschi in 1936. It sold for $1,160,000.
Many Pre-War cars made the top 10, but a few more recent examples also sold for $150,000-plus.
Among them included an original Hertz Rent-A-Racer, a 1966 Shelby Mustang GT350H Fastback, which sold for $190,400.
Also, a numbers-matching 1956 Jaguar XK140 Drophead Coupé sold for $171,360.
