If you're looking for a new AC Cobra, you might be in luck: AC Cars provided the public with a few more hints on what to expect for its all-new AC Cobra GT Roadster.
[Not a Cobra, but a remarkable scratch-built AC Bristol]
Fitted with a 5.0-liter Ford Coyote V8 engine good for 654 horsepower and 575 lb.-ft. of torque, the new Cobra is expected to be capable of a 3.6-second 0-60 sprint.
The AC Cobra GT Roadster has a wheelbase of 101 inches–making it the largest AC Cobra ever–and weighs in at under 3400 pounds. Additionally, buyers can opt for a six-speed manual or an eight-speed automatic.
Other features include carbon composite bodywork and an extruded aluminum space frame chassis that provides “outstanding torsional rigidity.” It also comes with creature comforts such as air conditioning, electric windows, "sophisticated in-car entertainment" and an optional removable hardtop.
Pricing and a full unveiling will come in the spring, but you can reserve yours now for £2,500 (roughly $3000 USD).
