What exactly made the Mustang California Special unique? Besides a reported production run of just 3200 examples, each featured a number of aesthetic factory modifications, like hood pins, a rear decklid spoiler, grille-mounted fog lights and Thunderbird-style taillights.
This 1968 Ford Mustang GT/CS features a 289 V8 engine backed by a Cruise-O-Matic automatic transmission and is said to have “just over 32,000 miles” on the odometer.
The seller notes that the Mustang, finished in blue over a blue interior, received a ground-up restoration, though the car doesn't come with “any documentation of when that was done.”
