An extremely rare 1911 EMF Model “30” Factory Racer has already been consigned.
We’ve learned to appreciate and enjoy Bonhams auctions throughout the past. You’ve probably read our coverage of their events if you subscribe to our magazine. We are excited to announce that Bonhams is coming to one of our local events, the Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance.
The inaugural auction is scheduled for Thursday, March 12 at the beautiful Fernandina Beach Golf Club on Amelia Island in Florida.
Bonhams plans to offer yet another top-tier selection of premium collectors’ cars, with an extremely rare 1911 EMF Model “30” Factory Racer already consigned.
Perhaps the most elusive of all American automobiles, this genuine pre-First World War factory race car is just one of a handful of survivors from this pioneering and heroic era. It was built by the Everitt-Metzger-Flanders Company of Detroit specifically to compete in what was the most important American road race venue of the day in Savannah, Georgia (just 100 miles from Amelia Island), host to the Tiedeman Cup, Vanderbilt Cup and American Grand Prix.
