Even in its most basic form, the Honda CRX offered buyers a lightweight, nimble chassis that responded well to being pushed. Those attributes were only amplified when Honda added an Si version to the lineup.
Although power was only rated at 91 horsepower and 93 lb.-ft. of torque for the North American CRX Si, the car’s sub-2000-pound curb weight and willingness to rev made driving at the limit an enjoyable activity. The Si also received a few exclusive features like a power sunroof, a rear windshield wiper and a unique “ducktail” rear spoiler.
This 1987 Honda CRX Si, a potential easy button for winning Radwood, is a first-generation example that “shows to have been a looked after, garaged vehicle” with a reported 182,741 miles on the odometer.
Mechanically, the engine is reported to be “running well and feels strong,” with the interior said to be in “good condition” overall. The CRX’s original books, manuals, jack, tool kit and spare tire are also included in the sale.
Find this 1987 Honda CRX Si for sale through eBay Motors for a Buy It Now price of $10,480.
