Sold from 1961 to 1965, the Triumph TR4 was mechanically similar to its predecessor, the TR3, though featured an upgraded body styled by Giovanni Michelotti. Power came from a 2138cc version of the Standard inline-four, good for around 100 horsepower.
This 1962 Triumph TR4 is an earlier example from the production run, finished in red over a black and tan interior. The seller notes that the car “runs and drives well,” and features a new generator and fuel hoses, as well as rebuilt brakes and front suspension.
Also included in the sale is a car cover, canvas tonneau cover, workshop manual and various parts catalogs.
Available for $17,900 this 1962 Triumph TR4 can be found at Wire Wheel Classic Sports Cars.
