I used to overlook the CS when it came to cool Mustangs to pine over, but lately they've been looking really good to me. This blue one is really pretty.

The story goes that since so many Mustangs were sold in California that it gave dealerships in the state enough leverage to ask for a special edition of the iconic pony car. Ford agreed, and so the Ford Mustang GT/CS (California Special) was born.
This 1968 Ford Mustang is one of those California Specials and is said to be one of only 3200 examples built. As a GT/CS, this Mustang received a number of exclusive features from the factory such as fog lights, hood pins, a deck lid spoiler and unique side stripes.
This particular example is powered by Ford 289 V8 engine that is paired with a three-speed automatic.
The seller notes that the car is equipped with an aftermarket stereo and speakers, though is said to have “been through a complete ground up restoration per the previous owner.”
Find this 1968 Ford Mustang GT/CS for sale from Mosing Motorcars for $37,999.
