Although built for 10 years, the Series 2 Lotus Elise wasn’t available in the United States until 2005, where the car received a number of changes to be compliant with the NHTSA. Despite that, the car’s performance was relatively unchanged from its European counterpart, the Elise 111R.
This 2009 Lotus Elise is a low-mileage example of an American Series 2 Elise, reported having only 19,600 miles on its odometer.
Overall, the car is said to be in “excellent condition,” equipped with the optional touring package that adds convenience features like power windows, a leather upholstery, and upgraded stereo and additional sound deadening.
The listing explains that the Elise comes with a rebuilt title because of damage to the fiberglass clam but not the chassis, and notes that the repairs in question were done professionally.
