Car Catcher: A Nissan Skyline Good Enough for Paul Newman

Before becoming an icon in the salad dressing aisle, Paul Newman was synonymous with another brand: Nissan. Newman appeared in promotional material for Nissan, and even raced for them under the banner of Bob Sharp racing. To celebrate the relationship, Nissan produced a special edition of the top trim Skyline GT-ES Turbo.

This 1985 "Paul Newman Version" Nissan Skyline is powered by turbocharged inline-six attached to a five-speed manual transmission. The Skyline looks to be clean and mostly original—even the Paul Newman signature decals look to be in good shape—and it can be yours for $20,000.
