It’s green, it’s lean, it’s so clean.
Autosport Design Inc. is offering this 1959 MGA Coupe 1500. “This MG A went through a complete two year, no expense spared, nut and bolt restoration in 2006-2007 by Lander’s Antique Autos of Elyria, OH,” the seller states. “Since, it has remained in excellent collector ownership with limited mileage and exceptionally maintained regardless of use.”
The MGA–British Racing Green over tan–comes with original books, full tools and restoration documentation.
Asking price is $49,500.

Non-original colour combination, but a nicely done car.
The coupes are a far more civilized version than the roadsters - actually weather proof ad reasonably quiet inside - great for long distance touring. When I took my coupe on a cross country MG trip with friends in roadsters, I'd get out at the end of the day's drive feeling pretty good, while they all looked like they had spent 8 hours in a wind tunnel with sun lamps.
