Car Catcher: A Rare Vixen-Body, M-Chassis TVR 2500

Sponsored Content Presented by Wire Wheel Classic Sports Cars.

Not to be confused with the 2500M, the TVR 2500 was a limited run of the Vixen that used the 2.5-liter Triumph inline-six, with the final models constructed by placing a Vixen body on the later M Series chassis.

This 1973 TVR 2500 “Hybrid” is one of those final-run models, making it one of only 96 said to have been built.

Finished in white over blue exterior, this TVR is equipped with a factory sunroof, triple Mikuni side-draft carburetors, Wilwood four-piston front calipers, Spax adjustable shocks and a brand-new set of Dunlop tires.

Reported to be in “excellent overall condition” and “run and drive well,” this 1973 TVR 2500 “Hybrid” is available from Wire Wheel Classic Sports Cars for $24,900.
