I was expecting a more shocking interior; Lotus has never been one to shy away from visually shocking color combos.
Hold the phone: Yep, it’s a Series 1 Lotus Esprit in yellow over black and blue–an original color combo, we’re told. This 1978 Lotus Esprit has been restored inside and out, while a pair of Webers replace the original carbs. Since restoration, the car has covered less than 900 miles. No word regarding submarine equipment. This fetching Esprit will cross the RM Sotheby’s auction block in Scottsdale this January. Find more details here.

You know, here I'm cool with the navy and yellow. But you're right, almost tame by Lotus standards.
That yellow. Wow.
A beautiful car; but the seats do not appear to be original, or have the original fabric. A cerificate of provenance would be nice. Too bad that the simple clean lines of the S1 design were compromised on this example when someone added the turbo bodywork panels IMHO.
