Tim,
What is the car in the photo behind the black 356? A 908???
That looks like a great time.

The city of Chattanooga is the perfect place to hang out, even if there isn’t a concurs going on. It's a warm, friendly, small city in one of the prettiest areas of the country. Add in one of the coolest new concours weekends in the world, and you have a serious treat for any car enthusiast.
One small hiccup heading into this year’s Chattanooga Motorcar Festival: The street circuit wasn’t going to be up to snuff. So event organizers bought property downtown and built their own race track just weeks before the event. (They also arranged for giant video monitors to be installed.)
Even though this gathering is only 2 years old, it stands up to events that have been held for decades. Sure, there were some teething pains–the car corral areas were a little light on Saturday, and some said the race course was a little bumpy–but organizers still created a world-class event in a world-class city and in a relatively short amount of time.
The inaugural event welcomed around 6000 spectators and participants. This year, some 20,000 people were said to pass through the gates. What will this festival look like in just a few more years? We were honored for the judging invite and have already marked it on our calendar for next year.
The mye28.com group for owners of old e28 5 series BMWs had a convention in Chattanooga some years ago, it was a nice town. There are some good driving roads around there, too.
