Although canceled for 2020, the 2021 Chattanooga Motorcar Festival is looking to go big this October 15-17: The event announced a roughly 2-mile-long race course that cuts through downtown Chattanooga.

Consisting of eight turns, the purpose-built circuit is planned to “expand in the coming years, with a longer version planned for 2022.”

Specifically, the new track replaces the time trials course used in the 2019 festival, with the events on Friday and Saturday limited to 12 competitors on track at a time.

Besides the on-track action, simulators, car club gatherings, specialty displays, special guests and panel discussions are just a few of the other features set for this year's festival.

That looks like fun but there's no mention of what the entry fee is which makes me think it's too rich for my blood and they only have one open wheel class and there's no way I'm running a Formula Ford in the same session as an F1 car.  Even a vintage one.
