I would have loved to have this restoration project, but unfortunately last week only, I have invested a huge amount in some other project.
Like most car guys, we’re always on the lookout for a good deal. We recently stumbled upon this 1964 Chevy Chevelle Malibu SS in Green Bay, Wisconsin, listed on Craigslist for a mere $6500. Now, before you get too excited, this isn’t the wild Chevelle SS generation that you’ve seen cross the block for six figures, but honestly, it isn’t too terribly far off. According to Hagerty’s valuation tool, a #4 (fair, and the lowest on their scale) condition 1964 Chevelle Malibu SS is worth a hair under $20,000 and an excellent example can be worth over $50,000.
The seller claims that this car is just “missing some trim and some interior” and “runs and drives and does sick burn outs.” So who wants a restoration project?
