If you came of age in the ’80s, then there’s a good chance that the J. Geils Band provided some of the soundtrack. The band’s leader also loved cars, and sadly he passed away this April. Several of his cars and bikes will be offered during Mecum’s upcoming Monterey sale, including this 1966 Maserati Sebring. The car had been hit by a bus, and the former rockstar was in the middle of putting it back together when he died from natural causes.
