This 1997 Renault Sport Spider may not be vintage yet, but this oddball racer would make a great addition to any garage. After its life in the one-make european series it was produced for, this car was reportedly used as a pace car for the St. Petersburg Grand Prix and in driver’s education events. It’s powered by a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder F7R engine—the same thing you’ll find under the hood of a Renault Clio—and is hooked to a 6-speed sequential transmission. Chariots of Palm Beach is offering this wacky racer for $49,900.
