Luck is when preparation meets opportunity. So was it luck for a 20 year-old designer to create an automobile that would be considered a classic more than 50 years later? Come find out at the Automoto Film festival in Monterey. At 7:00 pm on Saturday, August 16, Peter Brock will be giving a presentation about designing the ’63 Corvette Sting Ray. The talk will include some of Brock’s original 1957 sketches as well as the ups and downs of the design process. There will also be a Q&A session following the presentation. A ticket is required for admission and can be bought online (http://www.automotivefilmfestival.com/tickets) or at the door.
