Italian Cars, Food and Music in the Desert

Desert Concorso is about cars and car guys, not trailer queens. Gary Roberts of Costa Mesa, California will bring his bare aluminum Ferrari 275 GTB shell to display.

Concorso Italiano was the first major car show to invite hot rods back in 2001, and they're doing it again.

Opera always seems to go with Italian cars, food and art. Listen for the International Opera Institute at the Desert Concorso.

Mmm, just like Mamma used to make. Mamma Gina and Piero's PizzaVino will bring excellent meals.

Desert Concorso is a brand new lifestyle event brought to you by Concorso Italiano. There, you’ll be able to celebrate European automobiles, fashion, food, music and style in Palm Desert, California this March. The event will be at beautiful and quaint Shadow Mountain Resort, only a few blocks away from the spectacular shops on El Paseo Drive—commonly referred to as the Rodeo Drive of the desert.

The Desert Concorso will feature all of the beautiful Italian cars you’ve experienced at Concorso Italiano in Monterey, but will also welcome special interest sports cars from the UK, Germany, and France. A few selected American hot rods with exceptional engineering and/or design qualities have also been invited: cars built by Boyd Coddington, Roy Brizio and Steve Moal.

Of course, the event wouldn’t be properly Italian without celebrating food, fashion, art and music. Join in on Sunday, March 30th, at Shadow Mountain Resort in Palm Desert, California. For more information on how to attend, visit desertconcorso.com.
