Want to see some of the most iconic–and some of the first–concept cars ever created up close and in person? Be sure to add this year’s Detroit Concours d’Elegance to your calendar.

Set for September 18 at the Detroit Institute of the Arts, the Detroit Concours will feature four cars designed by legendary GM designer Harley Earl:

1920 Cadillac Type 59C

1927 LaSalle Series 303

1938 Buick Y-Job Concept

1951 General Motors LeSabre Concept

Joining those iconic machines? “Four additional cars in the Cars of Harley Earl class along with another 112 historically significant vehicles across 15 classes on the city streets and lawns surrounding the Institute.”

The Saturday before the concours will also feature a Cars and Community outside Comerica Park from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. A Motor City Party is to follow later that evening at the College for Creative Studies, where former General Motors Vice President of Global Design, Ed Welburn, will be the guest of honor.
