Maybe I need to pay closer attention (or it's because a Rolls-Royce is way out of my price range), but I always assumed Rolls-Royce has been using the same Spirit of Ecstasy this whole time.
Interesting.

The Spirit of Ecstasy, the iconic mascot of the Rolls-Royce brand, turns 112 today. On this date in history, February 6, 1911, the company first registered the Spirit of Ecstasy as its intellectual property.
According to Rolls-Royce, the Spirit of Ecstasy “personifies ambition, achievement, excellence and success. She inspires greatness – every motor car on which she graces has to be worthy of her presence.”
The Spirit of Ecstasy has changed over the years to reflect the day's trends. Most recently, Rolls-Royce recreated the Spirit of Ecstasy in 2022 for its all-electric Spectre.
What’s your favorite version of the iconic lady of Rolls-Royce?

The history behind the mascot is quite interesting, too. It was modeled after Eleanor Velasco Thornton - the secret lover for Rolls-Royce enthusiast and Car Illustrated editor John Montagu-Scott, 2nd Baron Montagu of Beaulieu. Thornton would die in 1915 when the ship she was on was torpedoed by a German U-boat. Montagu, who was on the boat with her, survived.
