The situation regarding this summer’s Monterey festivities can best be described as fluid—some events have been outright postponed until 2021, while others are moving to the virtual world.

The Classic Motorsports Magazine Monterey Kickoff Cruise-In at Pacific Grove will move to an online format where participants will share photos of their favorite rides. The event will remain scheduled for August 11, but participants will post photos to the Classic Motorsports website: classicmotorsports.com. Celebrity judges and special prizes are being lined up thanks to event partners eBay Motors, Hagerty, Moss Motors, Porsche Classic, The Monarch Pub & Restaurant and the Pacific Grove Chamber of Commerce. Also helping make this event a reality: our friends at Porsche Club of America and Jacksonville Cars & Coffee.
Organizers of Concours d’Lemons, in conjunction with partners Hagerty and Classic Motorsports, expect to move their event to an online format as well. We hear that it’ll be something.
As already reported, the 70th Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance will take place next year: Sunday, August 15, 2021.
Gooding & Company’s Pebble Beach Auction has been rescheduled to August 13-14, 2021.
The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering, has been suspended for 2020 and will return August 13, 2021.
