Monterey isn’t just about cars–if Motorlux is anything to go by, it’s about planes and food, too.
In addition to some 200 cars, Motorlux hosted more than a dozen aircraft and numerous farm-to-table “culinary stations.”
The event was divided up into four sections, each one featuring a sort of car-and-food pairing:
“Tokyo Night Market” had an R33 Nissan Skyline GT-R constructed by Built by Legends; “Legends of Baja” featured Frank Vessels’ BFG Blazer; “Cars of the Mille” showcased the Kurtis 500x ‘El Caballo II and “RADwood” focused on cars from, you guessed it, the ’80s and ’90s.
Broad Arrow Auctions was also on scene showing off some cars about to cross the auction block: 2007 Porsche RS Spyder Evo, 1985 Ferrari 288 GTO and 1954 Oldsmobile F-88 Concept Car.
Also on display? The 2023 Cadillac V-Series.R, fresh off of a Le Mans podium finish.
