If you love when cars and art collide, then you might want to venture to the Petersen Automotive Museum. The exhibit “Cars Are Beautiful: Mr Brainwash @ the Petersen,” just opened, with a “fully immersive celebration of the automobile,” according to the Petersen.
What are some of the art pieces you can see? Here are four of our favorites.
“The Thinkcar” pays homage to the “Thinker” by Auguste Rodin.
“Childhood Dream” channels Vincent Van Gogh’s “Bedroom in Arles.”
“Tired Victory” uses real tires to recreate “Winged Victory of Samothrace.”
“Big Little Car” features the first vehicle that many of us fell in love with, a Little Tikes Cozy Coupe, scaled up to 10-feet tall.
“This is truly a dream come true. I’m honored to have my very own display at the Petersen,” said Mr Brainwash in a press release. “Seeing the joy in everyone’s eyes is priceless for me. I wanted this display to have no limitations so everyone can be one with the art.”
You can see “Cars Are Beautiful: Mr Brainwash @ the Petersen” until 2026.
