No More Airbnb for Monterey?

Thinking about booking a short-term rental for that next car event in Monterey? You might want to consider alternate lodging. The city is no fan of short-term rentals and has been seeking ways to block them.

The city of Monterey tweeted out a reminder to residents of ways to report short-term rentals, a practice the city says exacerbates the housing crisis by depleting the stock of units available for long-term leases, as well as robbing city coffers of tax revenue.

No more Airbnb in Monterey?
