If you ever thought that the old-school Mini could use a turbocharger, you might be happy to learn you aren’t the first person to think that.
Engineering Research and Application Ltd–formerly known as race car manufacturer English Racing Automobiles–dropped the 94-horsepower, turbocharged 1300cc engine from the MG Metro into a Mini. The result? The Mini ERA Turbo.
This 1990 Mini ERA Turbo, one of less than 500 built from 1989-1991, comes finished in an appropriate shade of British Racing Green over a gray interior.
This 1990 ERA Mini Turbo shows about 55,000 miles and on the odometer and is available from Wire Wheel Classic Cars for $19,900.
