Recap: 2024 Classic Motorsports Orange Blossom Tour day 1

Where can you explore Florida’s finest backroads and hidden gems from the comfort of your favorite car? None other than our annual Classic Motorsports Orange Blossom Tour.

This week kicks off the 2024 edition of the tour, with participants arriving at the Mission Inn Resort & Club, the central hub of the week, on February 25.

The first day of driving, February 26, started off with breakfast at Mission Inn. After that, our guests drove out to the 226-foot-tall Citrus Tower, a relic of old Florida that once offered sweeping vistas of miles and miles of orange groves.

Once back on the ground, participants were treated to a Latin American lunch at Nineteen61 in Lakeland, followed by a tour of Florida Southern College, site of the largest single-site collection of Frank Lloyd Wright architecture in the world.

After the tour, we partook in some of Florida's finest back roads as we made our way back to Mission Inn. Once there, tour participants were treated to refreshments in the parking lot before dinner on the property.
