A guided tour of Florida’s finest back roads and hidden gem destinations–all from behind the wheel of your very own car.
Welcome to the Classic Motorsports Orange Blossom Tour, this year taking place March 9-14.
Sunday, March 9, saw our participants arrive at the hub hotel for the week’s activities, the Hilton Daytona Beach Oceanfront Resort, and settle in before the first day of driving.
Monday, March 10, we started off with an on-site breakfast before heading west to De Leon Springs. While there, our tour-goers saw several local species in their natural habit, including manatees, alligators, turtles and more.
After lunch at the Victoria Hills Golf Club, we drove south to the tallest lighthouse in Florida, the Ponce Inlet Lighthouse. Guests got to explore the museums located in the former lighthouse keeper’s dwellings.
Those brave enough to climb the many, many stairs of the lighthouse were greeted with a stunning panoramic view of the Atlantic Ocean meeting the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway.
To finish up the day, we returned to the hotel for the chance to freshen up before dinner at the Hyde Park Prime Steakhouse located inside the hotel.
