What inspired many of us to get into this hobby? Die-cast cars. For some of those kids who grew up, they continued that passion, just at a scale larger than 1:64. The Hot Wheels Legends Tour seeks those wild rides, traveling around the world to find the next car they’re turn into a Hot Wheels die-cast toy car.

The next event takes place Saturday, May 3, in the Atlanta region. Specifically, the Walmart in Suwanee, Georgia. It’s free to attend and family friendly. There will be more than 100 vehicles on hand, with judges that include Hot Wheels designers and local celebrities. The contest seeks “extreme, on-trend and relevant vehicles” that are also creative. They’ll award bonus points for “late nights, early mornings, grit and determination.” Interested participants can still enter.

The winner at Atlanta will move onto a semifinal for a chance to represent the U.S. in the Global finale.
