Special General Motors Motorama exhibit to open at the Petersen

If you wanted a view into the future, the General Motors Motorama shows highlighted the company’s concept cars from 1949 to 1961. You can see six examples of those vehicles at the Petersen Automotive Museum in a special exhibit, “GM’s Marvelous Motorama: Dream Cars From the Joe Bortz Collection.”

The six cars come from the years of 1953-1955. In addition to the vehicles, the exhibit will also delve into the history of the General Motors Motorama events.

The exhibit opens on March 16 and runs until March 2026.
