Make no doubt about it, with tickets starting at $600, the event is an expensive date. But, sometimes, and especially in The Quail’s case, it might just be worth it.
Here are six reasons you should, at least once, spend the money and attend The Quail next year.
1. Gorgeous Site
The event is set on a beautiful golf course and the Carmel Valley is arguably one of the prettiest places on earth.
2. Every Year has New Surprises
This year, there were two Formula 1 cars just staged, as if on pit lane, behind the McLaren booth. They also presented spectators with a fantastic all-MG class that featured both production models as well as cool specials, most of which had never seen before. Then we were blown away by the World Rally Championship display. A few yards further up the green, you could find a display showing the evolution of the supercar. Fantastic!
3. So Chill!
The setting is casual and so relaxed it feels almost haphazard. But the presentation is actually very methodical. As you stroll around, you keep bumping into class presentations as well as vendor and automobile displays that will blow you away.
And from the moment you come in, everywhere you turn you will see and hear various bands and dance groups titillating your senses.
4. New Car Reveals
All through the day, the covers come off and you can see international debuts of various luxury and supercars. This year there were reveals from Hennessey, Porsche, Maserati, Lamborghini, and a host of others. If you want to be the first to see a new car being revealed, then The Quail is the place to be.
5. Food and Drink
The food and drink are tough to beat. Deluxe dining experiences from countries from around the word await you at various luxury tents around the show. Ice cream stands, coffee stands, and open-air bars are situated between the tents around the show. Everything is free for spectators.
6. The Swag
From free magazines, to free poster stations, to other swag, presented by both the event and its partners. You will walk away from The Quail with a huge bag of goodies. Heck, they even hand out nice bags to carry everything.
Yes, The Quail is a bit pricey, but if you want to see and be a part of one of the best shows in the world, spend the money and enjoy The Quail.
