Sure, you can find the best of the best from the classic car world on display at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, but where can you find the best of the worst?
Look no further than the Concours d’Lemons.
Where a Concours d’Elegance celebrates cars with flowing lines, pristine paint and a storied past, Concours d’Lemons is more about the rustiest, most needlessly complex and most dangerous cars around.
On Saturday, August 19, the oddest, most mundane and truly awful machines in the entire automotive world (their words, not ours) descended upon Seaside, California, to find out which car deserves the title of “Worst of Show.”
For 2023, that unfortunate honor goes to a Citroen DS 21 wagon outfitted as a tribute to the 1969 Beatles album, “Yellow Submarine.”
