The Classic 24 Hour at Daytona will give owners, drivers and spectators a chance to witness the greatest names in racing.
HSR will be hosting the first ever Classic 24 Hour at Daytona in November. The event is open to all “significant sports cars from 1961-2010.” It has been ingeniously organized with 6 period correct run groups, each running an hour at a time for the full 24 hours. This makes it a 24 hour race for spectators and a string of consecutive sprint races for competitors.
The event will feature Many heavy-hitting racer classics, such as a Porsche 962 HR1, which won three IMSA championships. The Classic 24 Hour will also be the finale for the 2014 Trans Am Series.
It’s a great concept for an event, and we can’t wait to go check it out.
