A brand-new Bell HP10 helmet starts at $2299.95. However, this one going up for auction will be slightly used by WRC driver Thierry Neuville. In fact, it will have just one race on it. Estimated price? Somewhere from $13,000 to $19,000. No depreciation there.

Bonhams is auctioning the helmet Thierry will be wearing in the famed WRC Rallye Monte-Carlo.

In addition to being used by a five-time WRC drivers’ championship runner-up, it comes with slick graphics designed by Frédéric Platéus. Frédéric’s specialty is creating sculptures inspired by pop culture. You can find his works exhibited across the world, from New York, to Paris, to Brussels.

As of January 22, 12 noon Eastern, the current bid is £9500 (approximately $12,000 USD). Bidding ends on February 5. For more information on the helmet, and to put in your bid, click here.

In reply to Don2001l :

Indeed. If Thierry Neuville wins, that should up the price quite a bit, shouldn't it? He has won the event before, in 2020.
